Does 3DFurler have a physical store?

3DFurler uses an online selection and order process with live phone support. We do not maintain a public retail address.

Do you design custom marine parts?

Yes. We design and manufacture custom CAD‑modeled and 3D‑printed marine hardware tailored to specific boats or marina requirements.

What materials do you use?

We use ASA, TPU, and PCTG for UV resistance, impact strength, and durability in marine environments.

How durable are your 3D‑printed roller furlers?

Our systems are designed for all water and weather applications.

What is the lead time?

Every system is built and shipped in about 2–3 weeks.

What size sailboats does 3DFurler fit?

Generally, any sailboat from 15 to 55 feet, and we also offer custom designs.

What is “Lifetime Warranty”?

Our Lifetime Warranty is legally defined as 20 years from the date of Purchase.

Who is covered?

The original purchaser is covered, not the boat The warranty is non‑transferable, even if the product is sold, gifted.

Can I use it on a different boat?

Yes. The original purchaser is covered.

Are replacement parts free?

Yes, Parts are always free, and shipping is free for the first 12 months from date of installation.

Is labor covered?

Labor is not covered.

What is not covered ?

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse as defined in the Installation Manual, improper installation, accidents or impact damage, modifications such as cutting, drilling, painting, or altering components, normal wear and tear including cosmetic changes, UV fading, discoloration, salt staining, environmental exposure beyond normal marine use, or damage caused by using non‑approved accessories or hardware.

What about chemical exposure?

Exposure to chemicals known to degrade PCTG or ASA plastics will void coverage. This includes solvents, harsh cleaners, and any chemical listed as harmful in the Installation Manual.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Always send us pictures when the Installation is complete.

We will keep them on file. They validate your installation.
